About Us

Who We Are

At The Counselling Collab, our practice brings together evidence-based psychotherapy with body-oriented techniques, offering clients a holistic environment to feel supported.

We recognise that emotions, stress and trauma live not only in the mind but also in the body. For some, talking brings clarity and release; for others, connecting with the body opens deeper layers of awareness and healing. By integrating both, we create a space that adapts to what feels most supportive for you.

Located in Singapore’s Central Business District, our practice is designed to be calm, accessible, and welcoming , a safe space where you can prioritise your wellbeing, even in the midst of busy schedules.

Whether you’re seeking support for personal challenges, navigating relationships, or simply wanting space to reconnect with yourself, we are here to walk alongside you with care and expertise.

Our Philosophy

  • The mind and body are deeply connected.
  • Every client’s story is unique, and so is the way we support them.
  • A safe, compassionate space is the foundation for growth.

Our Mission

To provide a safe and supportive space where individuals and couples can reconnect with themselves, heal emotional wounds, and rediscover resilience. Through talk therapy, body-based practices, and compassionate presence, we aim to empower each client to find balance and clarity in their journey.

Scarlette Yuen

Principal Therapist

Registered Counsellor, Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC #C0942) | Master of Counselling, Monash University| BSc Psychology, University College London

Scarlette brings both an international background and a warm, grounding presence to her work. Raised in Hong Kong and having lived in London, Geneva, US and Singapore, she offers a culturally attuned counselling style that honours the diversity of her clients’ experiences. Fluent in Cantonese, English, and conversational Mandarin, her sensitivity to cultural and linguistic nuances enriches her therapeutic style.

Her areas of practice include supporting individuals and couples through relationship challenges, fertility struggles, burnout, anxiety, low mood, trauma and grief, major life transitions, and self-esteem issues. Alongside psychotherapy, she often weaves in body-based awareness practices, inspired by her own training in yoga and dance.

Before becoming a counsellor in 2021, she worked in banking for seven years. Over time, she recognised her calling to support others in nurturing emotional wellbeing and meaningful connection. Today, she lives in Singapore with her husband and young son, continuing to integrate creativity, resilience, and compassion into her counselling practice.

Outside of work, Scarlette is a dedicated ballroom latin dancer and yoga practitioner. Movement, mindfulness, and self-expression remain central to her life and continue to shape the way she supports her clients.
